How To Upload Videos Let’s face it folks, practically everyone these days has something that is capable of recording video. Almost all of them are connected to the Internet as well. So if you put one and one together you end up with a large portion of the general public with videos that they undoubtedly are going to want to share with family friends and a world full of strangers. Still cameras, video cameras and even cell phones now do a pretty good job of recording the video and audio so there is a huge amount of digital video out there. Now a tutorial on HOW TO UPLOAD VIDEOS would be a monumental undertaking considering every web area and every piece of software has different requirements, but here are some generalizations on HOW TO UPLOAD VIDEOS to the web once you have them records. First and foremost, you are going to want to do some form of editing no doubt. I know of no professional video person who does not edit out the bloopers and bad shots. So you will want to get it into some form of editing software and maybe lighten it up, chop out the bad parts, add titles and such so it looks great, and flows. Next you need to identify your target audience and figure out where is the best place to upload what you have. Obviously you won’t want to upload a heavy death metal music video to a Christian music site so you need to make sure that the content is appropriate for the intended location. And while you are at it, review the Terms of Service or TOS regulations for that site so that you are sure that your hard work doesn’t violate them and get pulled off. These sites all have rules about actual physical size and content and may require forms be filled out to upload. SO check all of that before you start uploading. A little caveat here is to make sure that the family and friends that you can easily see in the video know you are doing it and don’t care. It might be a really cute and cool video that the world will love, but you want to make sure you don’t lose your best friend over posting a video of him or her picking their nose. In other words use common sense and think about how you would feel in the reverse roll. Once you have all that done, the video shot, edited for content and saved in the appropriate style and size, you can go about uploading the content to the location that you have chosen. For the most part this is the easy part. You will need a broadband Internet connection of either DSL or Cable unless you want to literally spend several days uploading even a short video. You go to the web site and go to the upload page and follow through the instructions and click the upload button and depending on connect speed and size of the video, you will be watching your creation live on the World Wide Web in moments.
